JM: What advice would you offer to somebody who is going to visit an inmate in this jail?
Tom: Books for prisoners: I sent 11 books and NONE got to the inmate. Amazon stopped including shipping slips in most packages for "envoirnmental" reasons (also cheaper not to print them). When they get to the jail, they are rejected. The final solution is to mark them as gifts, then AMAZON includes a packing slip and the inmate gets the book. Tell all friends and family of inmates. Put it on the website and literature. It is a month later that I got the info that the books had made it to the jail and then returned to Amazon. I got a refund, but I wanted the inmate to get the books.
